For some time ago I missed a deal, a CD wich according to the seller contains various soundtracks. Im a bit sad that I missed the deal if it´s rare or something because it wasent really that expencive. So does someone know anything about this game or soundtrackCD and could give a little comment?

Edit : Hmm, to say that this CD is odd in the subjectline might have been a bit wrong, I dunno about that but I havent seen this CD ever before on pictures. I can not read japanese either so I dont know the title for it.

I believe I know of the CD you are talking about, I just don't remember the name or much information about it (I remember there being various Dragon Slayer songs on it). I'm sure someone else can answer this much better.

Its just the japanese equivelant of the U.S. Hudson Music Collection(or whatever its called) cd.

A lot of PC Engine games have them advertised on the back of the manual.
Justin the Not-So-Cheery Black/Hack/CrackTiger helped Joshua Jackass, Andrew/Arkhan Dildovich and the DildoPhiles destroy 2 PC Engine groups: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook, then the other by Aaron Nanto!!! Him and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together! Both times he blamed the Aarons and their staff in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner, never himself nor his deranged/destructive/doxxing toxic turbo troll gang which he covers up for under the "community" euphemism!

USA version? I had no idea there was one and it seems hard to believe. :?

The main thing I always wanted it for is the intro soundtrack to Dragon Slayer that is instrumental without the lame "naration".

The local Radio Shack got a copy back in the day and I heard that track when the guy demoed it for me. But he refused to sell it to me, even though I was the single Turbo gamer in town(literally).

If you want to pick up a copy, it doesn't go for much. I just keep forgetting about it.

Cool, thanks for the information and help guys. I think I will not take the CD that seriously, but if I happen to have the chance to get it cheap again I might be interested. But as always it´s great to get some more knowledge in the history of Pc Engine stuff.

This is the Hudson CD-ROM² Ongaku Zenshū, a series of soundtrack compilations which were released from 1990 to 1996 (the 1990 compilation was exclusively distributed with the double case edition of Urusei Yatsura). Starting from 1995, Hudson replaced "CD-ROM² Ongaku" with a more generic "Game Ongaku", and covered games from other systems like the Super Famicom and the PC-FX.

There's some very good stuff in those if you don't own the original games.

Seldane

That could be the "The Legend of Heroes II" soundtrack CD.

(Japanese title: "Dragon Slayer VI: Eiyuu densetsu II"

At least that's ED2's cover picture.
Quote from: Seldane on 04/21/2007, 07:28 PMDVDs are for suckers. Illegally pirated and stolen videos all the way. No menus. No "DO NOT PIRATE THIS!" screens. No fuss. Only perfection. I honestly only pirate movies because that "don't pirate this" screen annoys me.

Indeed, it's AV time. Check out: IMG! Sir, the door was open.

Yamazaki

It's not too rare. Costs about 20-30 $ here in Japan.

Maybe my previous post was not clear enough.

This is the Hudson CD-ROM² Ongaku Zenshū 1993, which features tracks from Eiyū Densetsu 2, Winds of Thunder, Gate of Thunder, Crest of Wolf (Riot Zone), Dynastic Hero, Yuna 1, Lodoss Tō Senki 1 and Dungeon Explorer 2.
