I agree in part to the example about the guy who likes metallica, and the guy trying to sell boxes.  Hell, I even posted a question in the turbografx mod section, and some of the answers were less then helpful.  You have to admit that it seems alittle counter productive to say hi to the new guy then tell him his music sucks. thats bound to turn away a few people now and then.  It does not make any sense to me either to ask a relevant question and have people make wise ass remarks instead of giving an intelligent answer.  I realize though, that the world is not perfect and these things are bound to happen from time to time. As for people who come in to these forums and try to gouge, well they are gonna get strung up and shot every time and i have no love for them.  Maybe we have lost alittle decorum. Everyone does seem to be on edge lately more so then when i joined a few months back. I doubt this is anything new though. Again, telling people that their pricing is off is not a personal attack but rather a protection for the forum members that may not know something's value.  Whether or not they're a regular member is irrelevant; what kind of community would ignore old timers when they try to gouge the community?
