Does anyone know which issue Of Electronic Gaming Monthly had that 2 page spread of Street Fighter II CE for PC Engine?

I think that it was the one with the Mortal Kombat comic drawings on the cover, but I may be be confused because the background(orange/sunset) reminds me of Guile's stage and the background of the actual article.
Justin the Not-So-Cheery Black/Hack/CrackTiger helped Joshua Jackass, Andrew/Arkhan Dildovich and the DildoPhiles destroy 2 PC Engine groups: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook, then the other by Aaron Nanto!!! Him and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together! Both times he blamed the Aarons and their staff in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner, never himself nor his deranged/destructive/doxxing toxic turbo troll gang which he covers up for under the "community" euphemism!

You are correct sir. It is the June 1993 EGM. The only reason I know that is that I'm currently cleaning out the garage and came across hundreds of old game magazines and that happens to be one of them.  :)

Since we're on the subject, I need to get rid of all these magazines. I can't imagine anyone wanting to pay the freight it would take to ship them to someone. Is there any market/interest in these things? I've always kept them because it's fun to pull them out once in a while for game research or just to look at the old ads but now it's time for them to go.

Thanks a lot for the confirmation.

There is a market for old game mags, but most go for only a few dollars or less because of the cost to ship them.

Hey, the November 1991 issue of EGM (TMNT cover, yellow spine) has one of my letters printed in it. :) A question about S-video cables for the SNES.

They edited it and the grammar ended up worse than my original letter. :P

Savage if you don't find any takers I'd be interested in the old EGMs and any other console game mags you have (especially if you have VG&CE, I loved that mag).   Let me know a price and I'll most likely take them off your hands.

m1SAVAGE, I'll buy all the old mags, especially the Turbo years, that I don't already own. PM sent.

Ok, it seem there's more interest in old magazines then I thought.

As it stands now, the magazines are going to a certain someone here who I feel will put them to good use. (I hear they work great for lining birdcages!) But first, I'm going to check out TJ's letter before sending them. :)

Hm, I have a bunch of EGM, EGM2, Gamepro, GameFan, etc. magazines from the '90s myself, but I wonder if I'd ever be willing to part with them. They're fun sometimes to take a look at as m1savage said, but in truth, all they do is sit and collect dust in my attic for the most part. Bah, who am I kidding; I couldn't part with them right now... I'm an old foggy and am too attached because of the boyhood significance they have. I even used to have the first issue of Nintendo Power once, but I brought it over at a tenants apt. and forgot about it I guess. It was later sent off to somebody else. =\

Anyway, it does make me a bit sad to see someone be able to make the final decision and say, "but now it's time for them to go."

Sometimes I wish I hadn't thrown my old EGMs out.  It was a tough choice because I moved into a small apartment and couldn't take all my stuff from home with me.  I remember my friend showing me issue 2 (or 4) and I started from issue 6.  Fond memories for sure.

IIRC, wasn't there a huge SF2' spread in GameFan(?) around the same time?  I just remember a 2 page spread of just screenshots.  No text, comments or anything.  I think the page before had the preview on it.

ParanoiaDragon

I have that issue.  Also of note, I'm in 2 issues, in 1 I have the 2nd highest score for Parasol Stars(wish I'd known about the extra levels at the time, then I could've won dammit), & the other one, is when I sent in a code for the last level of Impossamole........& they never sent me my free game!

I also have that issue....only about 5 or 6 survived the years. I even have one from 89 or 90 i think....Hudson Hawk is on the cover and its saddle stitched.
