i'm also going to consolize a neo geo mobo when this is done.
i'm seeing them listed on YJA as low as 1,500 yen for a MV-1FZ.
would it be worth it to import one off there (in a box of other stuff, of course) versus buying one off ebay?

Congrats man,though i would have used a 6 button genesis controller instead.I all ways found the 6 button more comfortable then the 3.As for arcade pcb suggestion if i had a supergun it be these.

okay, so a slight problem here.
supergun's all done and no issues with that.
but i bought a few neo geo controllers to use with it, and i can't get any of the neo cd pad type controllers to work.
i've also got 2 of the neo geo bean type sticks, and they work great, so i know it's not the pinout that's wrong.
any ideas what i should be doing?

It's your DB15 connectors they aren't deep enough for the Neo CD controllers to fully reach the pins. Mod your Neo CD controller ports with standard DB15s

Of course if you are getting a Neo MVS You might not want to do that. Get official Neo DB15s or mod an extension cord? Or use different controls for Supergun setup

it would look nice if you bundled up the jamma edge wires with some velcro straps. case looks super nice though! are you going to do any art or decals on the case?

yeah, i figured it might be that, just puzzled by the fact that the sticks worked.
that said, i'll probably fuck about with some extensions.

Bartre, did you wire up 5v to your supergun connectors? The pads require it to work. May explain why the beans work and they don't. Looks like the same connectors as what I use and I use a CD pad with my setup.
