PC Engine DUOs for sale Re-Capped, region mod and s-video mods available.

In the next few weeks I will start having finished Re-capped PC Engine DUOs for sale. I have 4 right now and will be getting another one or two in the mail within the next month if you miss out on these. The price for one is $190+shipping. I just looked through them and they all look pretty good so no worries on getting a nicer looking one over someone else. There are a few small scuffs here and there but if I had to grade the cosmetic condition I'd give them all a B+. All will be re-capped and include a pc engine controller(type will vary) and a 3rd party AC adapter and AV cable. I will also offer a region switch mod for an extra $35 and an S-video mod for $10. Send me a PM if you would like me to put one on hold for you and also what mods or extras you want added to it if any. Also, I will give a $5 credit to anyone who pays via a personal check or money order instead of using paypal.

Do most DUO's of that age require a new lens as well, or do lenses generally last much longer based on level of care?

The original lenses are very reliable. I would not have one changed unless it is broken. Most commen cause of CD drive failure is bad capacitors.

Will you ship internationally? Is there a chance to choose the controller included? To save on shipping the AC adapter can be optional?

hmm, i'm debating if i want one of these, Keith gave me the hookup with a briefcase setup last year, and that's been awesome.

International shipping is fine with me. It would actually be cheaper to ship the system in one box and then the AC adapter, controller, and AV cable separately. You are welcome to pick a controller from what I have on hand. Just send me a PM and I will let you know what I've got. Should have one of these ready by this weekend.

I am going to finish up shipping the initial 4 and look at what I have available. I know I am receiving more but want to make sure all problems are repairable on them first before I promise anyone else another DUO.

Modders here are pretty good. not a bad route. fairly cheap. However the DUO-R is freakin boss.
