can you use 2 controllers with one IR receiver with that controller set?
Blast away and go go go!!!

Yes.  The receiver works like a five player tap with the switch on the controller setting which spot you take.

Some new goodies. Weird thing is that Valis 1 is a Super Cd . 3 and 4 are regular CD ROM2.

IMG

NecroPhile

Valis was the last game made, which is why it's Super CD.  They probably skipped porting it because it was "too old", starting with Valis II which was new at the time; apparently the others sold well enough to warrant porting the original when they didn't have a Valis V to port.

I have a full set of Turbo Force magazines from my own original subscription, but only one issue of PC-Engine magazine.  I would love to get some more.  Color me envious.

Cool!  I will definitely check those out.  Nothing like flipping through the real thing though.  My friend and I were just lamenting our long gone EGMs and Game Pro magazines.  I also had a couple of Video and Computer Games, I think the name was?  And some older Commodore 64 Mags like Run.  Turbo Play/Force was the only ones I was sensible enough to keep.  I still think I might be missing one or two issues at the end though.  I remember clearly waiting for some issues to arrive that never showed up, I was mad since my subscription definitely wasn't up.  Looking back, I think it was probably the start of NEC and Turbo Play having some financial troubles.  I gotta look up a list though to be sure.  I think the last one I got might of had Dungeon Explorer II on the front?  And I think it was called Duo World at that point...

I got Image Fight today. For years I thought this was an awful game but playing it I know I was thinking of another game...or maybe I was just stupid as a kid :D

I got a sweet deal on a copy of Ys IV off teh Bay.  Came in the mail today!!!
Jossshhhhh...Legendary TurboTrollX-16: He revenge-bans PCE Developers/Ys IV Localizers from PCE Facebook groups and destroyed 2 PC Engine groups: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook, then the other by Aaron Nanto!!! Josh and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together! Both times he blamed the Aarons and their staff in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner (extortion/blackmail!), never himself nor his deranged, destructive, toxic turbo troll gang!

That one came with a photocopied manual, the rest were in really decent shape, plenty of spine cards to be had...was a pretty good grab. I already sorted out my keeps so I will be turning around and parting with some of it, and even toss a raffle or two into the mix, so stay tuned :)

Traded some junk and got this for $20:

I also traded out my US CIB N.Spirit for a JP loose at the store...since I now have 3 PCE's (well, and one Express) and makes more sense to get Japan versions now. No power or controller, but I have a white pad already. It does have the lid, no worries. I was able to find a wall wart at Goodwill that has the correct volts/amps and ghetto fabricate a working power supply after drilling a tip to be a bit wider. I happen to have my buddys US CD-ROM and ACD Pro in my house after finishing some drive repairs, so I tested it right with Sapphire.

Guess I'll be on the hunt for a white CD-ROM now...the chase never ends...

I'm loving that Kabuki Den tin. Was that released as a limited edition with the game or was it released afterwards?

I would also like to know this, as I am also unsure if this was a limited release or not. I have looked around the net but have found nothing so far on this release.

The game inside the tin has the same release ID of the retail  non-tin boxed version HCD 3046

I picked up a much-needed Tennokoe Bank, but it ended up being a dud unfortunately. Oh well, at least they're pretty cheap... and I have the case and manual now, so it shouldn't be too hard to find a loose one somewhere.

Also grabbed a copy of Kiaidan 00, because giant robots.
