Some really nice ld's on that list. Too bad the player is a Sony made one. They were fairly notorious for breaking down.

Total Recall is the only LD disc I ever bought after buying a used Pioneer LD player... Had no clue the format was dying right at that moment. :-( I sort of got pressured into buying the player in exchange for a VCR that broke on me from this resale shop I used to hang out at. Ah well, only $200+$40 down the tubes...

Definitely some fun movies there.

I'll try to keep a LD player around as long as I can, but it honestly mine hasn't gotten much use lately.  However, things always seem to be cyclical with me so the next time I post on a LD related thread I'll probably be talking about all the movies I've recently watched.

There's something very cool about watching movies that used lasers(!) back when everyone else was using tapes. And Lucas didn't hadn't messed with his movies back then...

Yeah, there are a couple Star Wars sets in there too which are pretty neat.  Normally I would be interested in a number of them myself but I'm just tapped out right now with Christmas and such around the corner.
