Ya, sickboy has sold a couple of things that were ok in price. I thought it was nice he offered here but now a lot of those prices are high.

Exactly!  I was almost $20K in debt, with a mortgage payment, and a car payment and the bank was still pushing me to up my line of credit from $10K to $20K.  I never took it, but it was there.  All pre-approved and all I had to do was sign and mail it back to them.

$100 for Air Zonk is ridiculous.  I just sold Exile for $20, Monster Lair for $20, I'm selling Order of the Griffon for $50 and I just sold Vasteel back to the original owner for $50.  $50! And it's probably the nicest copy you'll ever see.  Hell I bought Neutopia II CIB for $90 less than 10 months ago.  And Gate Of Thunder for $50 less than 6 months ago from brick n' mortar RESELLERS!

BTW, if anyone here buys sicboy's copy of (PCE) Street Fighter II - Champion Edition for $50 I will kick them in the nuts.  I'm selling the same thing for $20 here

The $12.35 isn't bad considering I'm shipping it in a medium flat rate with loads of bubble wrap and a BIN value of insurance. I already had one $300 game ruined by the post office. I'm not letting it happen again.

This is the exact reason why you don't blow all your extra money on games, that you can either hold out for, or in most cases get for free. Now you are stuck with no savings, and have to try and break even on games you purchased with money that should have been saved. last time i checked, sicboy was an adult

It is hard to learn at first since eBay makes everything so easily attainable with "Buy it Now" sales. I just can't get over $50 for Street Fighter II when someone on here last week had a copy going for $10.

Hey it might be dumb to you and that's cool, but in this market it seems to go just like that. I am sure you have seen the steady rise of prices in games. If you are only a gamer then it's kind of different to those who collect. Hard to compare a car to the memories of the past for some..... There are some cars that are worth more than when they came out , right? So guess what there are some similarities of those who are into that. Would it be fair to say that people are foolish to buy these cars? It's their choice, right?

I just paid $150 for this same game (In awesome condition) at The Midwest Gaming Classic. Albeit it was from a friend that was doing buying/selling/trading, still it was less than 1/3 of what you've charged.
