He was referring to how you should sell me that Legend of Heroes and then raffle one of the other games in that sick lot you bought, I think.

You said you weren't trolling. Thought it was your ad for some reason and you were defending yourself. My bad.

And Null, let's change the song to Whistling in the Dark, mmkay?

Whistling, whistling, whistling, whistling, dark, dark, dark, dark...

Something you guys can try, that I used to have luck with, was asking at yard sales if the person selling stuff has any old video game stuff. Then, be a bit vague, and just mention systems, (NES, Turbo Grafx, whatever).

I used this often when looking for Atari 2600 stuff. Granted, that was until the early 2000's, but it worked out really well how often people would tell me, "Oh, I didn't bother to bring that old stuff out, because I thought no one cared about it anymore".

I never really tried it with Turbo Grafx, but the last few times I popped up at random yard sales, if I saw a few electronic things outside, I'd usually ask if they had any older video game stuff, like Atari, Nintendo, Turbo Grafx, Sega... Sometimes people have stuff sitting around, sometimes it's not much, or not what you're looking for. The last times I asked someone had a Fairchild Channel F and a dozen games or so that I left behind, another some Gameboy stuff. So, sometimes it may not be what you're looking for, but asking politely sometimes gets you somewhere.
"Damnit, Beavis, put that away. You're not supposed to have your _____ out when you're cooking".

I don't do garage sales much around here as it's mostly baby clothes. When I do go to sales, I always ask for games and specific systems whether they have any on display or not. Never really ask for TG, but maybe I should. Just figure people in my area aren't cool enough to have it. I'm not cool enough to have it either. Maybe one day...

Johnnymad, we are all good, Hailing now you know that I have been branded a collectard right? So that would mean that I would not sell any of my wares even doubles. Tell you what though when I decide to let go off some of my extra stuff you will be the first to know. Deal? You know how us collectards do....

I can't tell if you're joking or not? You're not a collectard unless you're actively seeking out the title, methinks. Meaning trying your darnedest to never play and forever collect, Mister. Why insult yourself so? You play your games, right? As for myself, I take little breaks from obeying whenever I get bit by the anime fighter bug. Or when something just absolutely catches my attention. Normally though, I obey whenever I get the time throughout the day. I like how I don't look at any of my retro consoles the same anymore. Like they don't matter as much as my Turbo. Bucci, what did you do to me? lol

Hailing, I never said that you thought I was a collectard. Others here have branded me as one. No matter though, I collect and play what I like. However I guess if you have more than one title of something or have something in the box new you are dubbed COLLECTARD! That's the way it has come across to me from others stand point....

As has been explained repeatedly, many here are collectards, at least in part.  Unfortunately, madboom's prosecution complex forces him to ignore that fact.

Necro, I thought you wanted to play nice? If I am joking with someone, then it is just that a joke. I could care less if people think I am a collectard or not. If you don't want me to come at you with a sharp stick then don't toss stones. You like to comment on threads that I am present on and I try to make it a point not to do so on the ones you comment on. Now if a stone is cast in the water first, I will throw a stick at you. See now I was all ready to give you a hug and here we are...

Those who might think of you as a collectard would be less inclined to do so if you didn't exclusively post in collecting/market related threads like this, with the occasional non game-playing thread in-between.

It also doesn't help that the only two non-commerce threads you've created were titled:

QuoteRaffle Magical Chase who would..

  and

copies known to exist of magical chase?
If you really are playing your games, then why not talk about them and share your experiences?

Did you end up managing to get a copy of Magical Chase for thousands of dollars as you were working towards? If so, what do you think of the game?

You aren't being singled out or bullied or anything. If you literally only talk about nu-collecting in a game fan forum that uses the term "collectard", why wouldn't you expect to be thought of as one?
Justin the Not-So-Cheery Black/Hack/CrackTiger helped Joshua Jackass, Andrew/Arkhan Dildovich and the DildoPhiles destroy 2 PC Engine groups: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook, then the other by Aaron Nanto!!! Him and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together! Both times he blamed the Aarons and their staff in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner, never himself nor his deranged/destructive/doxxing toxic turbo troll gang which he covers up for under the "community" euphemism!

johnnymad

So, uhmmm...yeah. Anybody ever find a TG game in an abandoned mine, phone booth, or truck stop bathroom?

madboom0522

Now tiger, how did I know that you would go to old threads to comment on this one? As I said I was joking with Hailing. Yes I play my games, it does not mean I talk about doing so. I do a lot more reading on here than actually posting. You already know that I have chase. I have stated it in previous posts. Is there a chance that the second chase post was in good fun? It's all good though.

I love the random brass band at the end of the song. Had to be an out take that they decided to keep.

Mister, Mister, let's just talk about adventures. How close to peeing yourself did you get the first time you made it to King Drool? I, myself, came really close. Had to use the facility  (if you know what i mean) like 2 times before I could face him, just to make sure he didn't enslave my urethra and command it to release my liquid fear. Oh me, oh my. :3

You're the one that won't let it go, buttercup, and it's not much of a joke when you go on and on about not being a collectard when nobody has brought it up but yourself.  It's pretty clear your posts were a dig, but perhaps someday you'll dry your tears and move on.

Quote from: johnnymad on 08/05/2014, 07:01 PMI'm constantly stopping at thrift stores and flea markets looking for video games. Been checking stores for about 8 years but really only started focusing on games the past 3 or so. Have found games for many systems and the consoles themselves but never anything TG related. Any of you guys find anything good out there?
I found my TG express at a yard sale about 2 years ago.
Near Mint with a TV tuner, they used it as a TV for hurricanes (Florida). Described the games to the woman and she said she had some and then when I called her a week later she told me she could find them online for me for a fee (Um, no lmao) and she did ebay.
Got it for $8 so can't complain though.

Other t5han that never seen any TG stuff EVER in the wild and only the most basic games at most games stores if they even have anything.
