Ever seen a younger person fool around with a type writer? I've seen it, they like to mash all the keys on mechanical ones, and have it jam up. I know of someone who has some displayed, for fun, and that's what they usually do. Easy fix, as long as nothing is bent, just finesse the arms back down.
