Quote from: cr8zykuban0 on 12/17/2014, 02:43 AMlol its actually weeds I pulled from the front yard a few days earlier from when the pic was shot.
Super pic. You wrecked some weeds, trashed them, then tipped over their coffin, and jumped over them on your skateboard?

An awesome send-off, for some weeds. I can only hope similar, for myself. :)

.
hell yeah dude! I had to give them a slow and torturous death! they made my front yard look like crap so I gave them the death sentence! lol

MrFulci

Good job, it's not PC, but the Cubans tend to take care of their yards  #-o

Myself, I take weeds, clippings, excess, and if they don't get recycled, I toss them into an area, nearby, that is, "no one's property", and they can rot in peace.

I think I need another video...

but I cannot find  what I want. I blame the embargo, and a brain fart.

you win this time, Kuban... Also, Nekro wins, since he dislikes when I post videos. Usually :)

Quote from: Desh on 12/16/2014, 05:42 PMActually, old school gaming took over my car obsession after I had kids.
That's funny, my gaming hobby picked back up because I'm between "weekend" cars. Had to spend my money and occupy my time somehow!

And I've looked into G8 GXPs as well, but they are out of my price range.
And unfortunately, my wife likes the looks of the G8 the least out of the three cars I'm looking at. Since she will be driving it from time to time as well, she gets a small say in the decision.

Have any pics of the Lebanon?

And good luck on your car search. Luckily we have a Sienna to haul our kids around in for the most part. So I can get a decently "fun" car as my next daily.

Quote from: 420GOAT on 12/16/2014, 05:54 PMbesides turbografx i buy cars about one per year and fix it or get it street worthy. then sell it. mostly V8 Camaros and trucks. i also build VW busses and sell those too, no bugs! im currently working on the wifes 74 k5 with a 6 inch lift. im waiting on the fucken machinist to give me back my finished block. i like bicycles cruisers and vintage BMX. i built a 78 mongoose for my daughter. so now im getting into minibikes as my son (8) bought one from our young buddy around the corner with his own cash.

Cool!, another Z enthusiast here.  Z32?  I'd love to hear more details about your Z.

I've owned two Zs. A '91 TT and a '93 2+2 that I still have.  Sadly, my Z has been sitting for years since it needs work and I haven't had the time.

My only hobby now is basically changing diapers and taking care of my kids.  Unfortunately at this moment there's no time to play games, work on my cars or time for any other hobbies with little ones around.
I have own three different Z throughout the years.  My first one was a 2+2.  Sold that and picked up a 91 twin turbo.  Sold the twin turbo a few years ago and have been kicking myself ever since.  I just picked up another z, this time a 93 NA just this past August.  All the z I've own were red including this one.  I love the way it looks, always have since I was a kid. And they are fun cars to drive.
Awesome, it sounds like you're a Z fanatic too. :)  I also wish I could have kept the TT but I ended up selling it to basically get one of my other dream cars.  Keeping two Zs just wasn't ideal, especially with kids now.  But NA Zs are still great cars, fun to drive, stylish and the engines are damn near bullet proof.  Only thing is working on certain things can be a pain since the the engine compartment is so tight; which is why I'm kind of dreading the work I eventually have to do.

Only red Zs?...so was that a must have color for you?  Did the game, S.C.I. with a red Z have any influence?  One of my favorite PC Engine games just because it features the Z.

Quote from: Desh on 12/16/2014, 07:38 PMAgreed.  I've always wanted one.  I drove a twin turbo once that was a pile.  It misfired and needed major mechanical attention.  All of those problems on top of the huge wing, ugly chrome wheels and a front bra hiding front end damage.  I was thinking it was a $2500 car.  The owner was thinking it was a $5000 car.  Needless to say I didn't buy it
Yeah, sadly a lot of Zs are really thrashed as these cars have gotten older. The one you described kind of sounded like my TT when I first got it. Misfiring with a lot of issues.  Clean, unmolested TT Zs are getting harder to find.

Old pic of my NA 2+2...

After some work, it's running and driving great now.  I know what you mean, these cars are a pain to work with.  I just changed the alternator on this one and it was kicking my butt. I was lucky to find another Z lover in my area that can do some works on my Z, he knows them inside and out.

I look at Z cars about the same as I do 3000GTs. They would be great to own, but only if I had the money to pay for parts and let someone else work on it.

Quote from: chany60126 on 12/16/2014, 03:48 PMI have a very unique taste in music as I enjoy listening to power metal and folk metal. But I also enjoy listening to 90's Alt Rock as well as 80s-90s synthpop.
His favorite album is St. Anger by teh metallicats

I'm a father of some teenagers, some elementary kids and a toddler, (5 children) so honestly most of my free time is spent being a dad.  Story time, assisting with school projects and being a full time taxi to dance/gymnastics and marching band competitions is pretty much my 2nd job.

Cars?
I can't say I enjoy doing anything with cars other than taking road trips with my family and commuting to work.  I like jogging and biking, but I haven't had opportunities or willpower to do much of either this fall/winter.

Pro Wrestling
I love old school pro wrestling (WWF/AWA) and some newer indy style/strong style rasslin' like ROH and New Japan (And a dash of TNA when it doesn't suck).
FUN FACT:I toured my local area in 2000-2002 on the indy circuit doing mostly promo work/managing/announcing and some wrestling.  I came out of retirement in 2011-2012 and did 4 last matches with some of my closest friends and had a blast.  Never really thought about going back into that, but if the perfect venue comes up, I wouldn't completely dismiss the idea of 'one more match'...LOL

I love football, both playing with friends on the playground and watching on TV.  I spend most of my free time on Sunday's watching.

I'm with Chany on the Folk/Celtic and Melodic/Progressive Death Metal scene.  Currently some of my favorite bands are - Wolfheart, Edge of Sanity, Frosttide, Hoth, Ne Obliviscaris, Neurotech and Shade Empire.  I also love synth/chill wave stuff like Com Truise, Mega Drive, Powerglove and Perturbator.

My classic favorites in the metal scene are Arch Enemy, Amorphis, Opeth, Iron Savior, Iced Earth and Alice in Chains.

Digging those Zs one of the classics from the 90s, that was one of the cars I was looking at when I found a nice MR2. The MR2 also has a really tight engine bay, this and the engine location doesn't make it very fun to work on. I just did a bunch of maintenance on mine in October and it was pretty difficult.
Here is a pic of the car http://ektophase.com/otherstuff/MR2Pic1.jpg

I'm also into to custom PCs, linux, and game dev. Outdoors I do some camping and hiking. I like to play a little tennis, snowboard, and bike but don't get around to these very often.

VenomMacbeth

Seems like there are a lot of car buffs on this forum.  I wish I could get up with some of you guys, as I could use some help fixing up my old Fairlane.

Anyway, aside from what everyone already knows (video games, transforming robots/mechs of most kinds) I also draw & paint when the muse strikes, and I enjoy amateur naturalism...IE mostly insect collecting.

I love his books since I read The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle on a summer vacation in Turkey in 2002. I suffered a sunburn right from the 2nd day, and so a friend lend me his book to help fighting the boredom when I stayed at the hotel for that day.

If I had to choose a favorite story, I honestly couldn't decide. They are all enjoyable.

Wow, so many well-rounded people on here.  I feel like a real slouch...  I basically just enjoy video games, film, and animation these days when I'm not working.

I actually used to work as a stage actor, and I had hoped to do professional voice acting at some point, but I haven't acted in over six years now and it's really killing me.  It honestly kept me healthy and I enjoyed life more when I was performing regularly.  I mainly quit because I got married and felt like I needed a "real job" to support us.  Seems like a huge mistake in retrospect; particularly since the marriage didn't last.

I also love to sing.  I was performing with a choral society there for a while, but other events in my life kept me from continuing with it.

Well, it's not everyone's cup of tea, but Blakes 7 different than Dr. Who (group dynamics). Here in the States, 1-2 local public television stations aired every season of Blakes 7, so I loved it (very few options for a family without cable television in the 80's). These stations also played every episode of Danger Man (re-titled "Secret Agent Man" over here) and The Prisoner.

Anyway, Blakes 7 has a slow start, but it might worm its way into your heart after a few episodes. Needless to say, I think it is an underappreciated gem (even the weaker later seasons, with cast changes are fun).

Since it didn't air on many stations here, it doesn't have much of a fan base in the U.S. To date, the best conversations about Blakes 7 have been with my brothers and my dad. Ha!

I am currently in the process of narrowing down my next daily driver for next year when it comes to buy.
I have it down to either an Acura TL type S, Mitsubishi Evo X (or Ralliart), or Pontiac G8 GT. Then in 2021, I will be importing a Mitsubishi Evo IV as my weekend car.

So lets hear your hobby (or hobbies). What occupies your time when you are not playing games?
mmm DSM tasty. Cars are my other hobby as well.
