@GTV reviews the Cosmic Fantasy 1-2 Switch collection by Edia, provides examples of the poor English editing/localization work. It's much worse for CF1. Rated "D" for disappointment, finding that TurboGrafx CF2 is better & while CF1's the real draw, Edia screwed it up...

Justin the Not-So-Cheery Black/Hack/CrackTiger helped Joshua Jackass, Andrew/Arkhan Dildovich and the DildoPhiles destroy 2 PC Engine groups: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook, then the other by Aaron Nanto!!! Him and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together! Both times he blamed the Aarons and their staff in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner, never himself nor his deranged/destructive/doxxing toxic turbo troll gang which he covers up for under the "community" euphemism!

ROBOCOP is one of the best movies of all time, as far as I am concerned. I friggin' love it.

But then you list T2, the biggest turd in the world. Ok, it's not the worst, but I can't rewatch it. Upon release, I saw it in the theatre... and I still don't want to rewatch it, after all these years (ok, I'm teasing you, I did see it again when it was on VHS widescreen).

I love the first Star Trek...it has an amazing atmosphere and I don't mind the really slow, deliberate pacing. It is visually beautiful, and the soundscape is fantastic, too.

Star Trek II = The best. I saw it with my father when I was a kid and it remains one of the best experiences. So friggin' awesome. I was 7 when I saw it, so it was particularly awesome to experience in the theatre.

Aliens = awesome, but I overwatched it in my youth.

What? T2 was friggin awesome!!  :D The CGI effects for the time and the T-1000 completely blew my mind.
And it's probably the most quotable Arnie film, so many classic lines.

I won't say I dislike T2, but I do find myself cheering for the T-1000 to accomplish his mission and kill whiny bitch John Connor.

Even at the time, I enjoyed the original Terminator far more: the atmosphere and tension of Terminator (and, say Aliens), meant so much more to me than the vapid action sequences in T2.

I like Fletch so much more than Fletch Lives.

There is something so great about the pacing (and the atmosphere, and the performances) in Fletch...and I like the music (even though it repeats over and over, I went from finding it annoying to living the damn theme).

BRIEFLY: I love that Fletch isn't as XTREME as other films. It doesn't really try to be an action film (thank goodness!). Many other formulaic films would have inserted EXTREME GUNFIGHTS/CARCHASES/DEATH/DEATH into something like Fletch.

I love that the movie proceeds according to "Fletch Time"...

I'll stop.

ParanoiaDragon

I love both, but the first is much better then Fletch Lives.  Still, they're 2 of my all time favorite movies.  Actually, one of my favorite scenes is in Fletch Lives, where he's one of those healing church guys, probably the best scene of the movie.

I have to watch this movie again. I have not seen it since I was a kid (mid-80's). I've watched isolated scenes over the years, but I never sat down to watch it in full.

I NEVER SAW IT IN WIDESCREEN GLORY.

I saw it on VHS 4:3 on a small TV.

It was still impressive back then (the futuristic atmosphere...even if the characters seemed to be wearing cardboard armor).

I also remember that it wasn't as awesome as THE BLACK HOLE. The Black Hole is another film I have to watch again, but I am worried that my daughter might find both Tron and Black Hole's pacing kinda slow.

Then again, she is the one who convinced me that Star Trek (first film) is fantastic (if slowly paced) film.

I don't care if my daughter hates Tron, though, since I was never in love with it myself.

Hmmmmm ....

Also, there is no way to have a discussion about Disney's The Black Hole without feeling stupid ("I like black holes")
