There's 2 noise bars slowly moving across the picture.  It appears to be interference but what is causing it? My TG-16 and CD system doesn't show this or many other game consoles so it can't be external interference.

I'm thinking problem with internal power supply being 2 lines, looks like 120Hz, like there's noise at DC filtering. Any schematic for it? Or is there a common known issue with this that I can quickly check?

Using Sony brand PS2 slim power supply, it's the only one I have that fits and meets requirement atm.  If the power supply is causing it, what else can I use?

Power supply for sure. Seen this before.

Get a better one.

Sometimes a better Av cable will fix this as well but a power supply is the cheaper/easier option.

Ok I'll see what I can find tomorrow.  I also noticed another thing, is the Duo-R supposed to have power LED?  Mine doesn't and when I opened the console, there is a LED but it doesn't light up.  When I used my meter to check, it shows 1.5v and the LED lights up so it is not burned out. Why would LED not come up when the console's on?  Bad power supply?

The led you see is only for when the CD drive is being used. Hit run and it will light up.

So No for the power led. Doesn't come with one.

Got a hold of an extra power supply, one originally for Genesis 2 or 32X and it worked fine. So either Sony made shit power supply or mine needs repair.

There's a lot of knock-off PS2 slim power supplies floating around.  They look very similar but don't say Sony on the sticker label.
