Sorry guys, I refuse to let eBay be my reference for pricing. So I ask you, the experts. I'm looking to sell these in order to fund some CD games and other Hu's I'm looking for.

Apologies as I'm completely new to the Turbo scene, but I'm just unsure of a good asking price for these. Preferably as a bundle, but will separate.

Thanks in advance! You guys are awesome

*UPDATE*

Thanks everyone for your feedback (and the flaming), was not able to reach out to everyone individually.

Super Star Soldier - *Pending*
JJ & Jeff - $8 *SOLD*
Aero Blasters - $30 *SOLD* (whoever paid me for this, you paid an extra $6, PM me for refund)

Double Dungeons - $10
World of Casino - Free with any purchase i guess *GONE*
Cyber-Core - $12
BoxyBoy - $12 *SOLD*

I'm looking to Buy or trade for:

Ys Book 1/2
Ys III
TurboDuo 3 pack
Shadow of the Beast

ToyMachine78

CrackTiger

As a lot, I'd say that $160 - $180 is a fair price. It's hard to judge condition based on a single small photo.
Justin the Not-So-Cheery Black/Hack/CrackTiger helped Joshua Jackass, Andrew/Arkhan Dildovich and the DildoPhiles destroy 2 PC Engine groups: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook, then the other by Aaron Nanto!!! ^^This sounds right.

o.pwuaioc

I would have lowered it just a bit, to $150. But maybe I'm cheap, and were I to buy these individually, I'd probably have no qualm with paying Black Tiger's asking.

I don't need them though, so GLWS.

bob

Well, most people that would pay close to going rate are going to be looking for the cases too.
Also, not a lot of people need all of those games together, so breaking them up would be more beneficial to you. But if you are looking just to off load them, then i dont know. Its kind of a tough lot to judge accurately.
Good to hear you dont want to take them to ebay, since it would most likely be a reseller that buys them and then you will see more artificially inflated listings. If they got that lot from you for 150, i bet they try to make 800 from it.

majors

Yeah, loose kills it...those are "gamer copies", personally I'd not pay over $100, my break down:

JJ - 5
Bravo - 5
DD - 5 (and that is being gracious)
drop off - 5
Aero - 10
Blazing - 15
SSS - 15
Chew - 5
Casino - worthless
Boxy - 5
Cyber - 10
Galaga - 10
random manuals - free

Now, I'm not one to buy US turbo much, so this is just my opinion...I do not keep up with pricing, I'm sure this is all low ball prices nowadays. If the others say $150...they are prolly right and just add 50% to what I think.

Since there are too many pro-price-ceiling regulars who only hang around only to jump in on threads like these and complain that some resellers on eBay appear to be able to end listings at above average prices... I factored in what these games usually sell for on there.

But many items in this lot are basically "worthless" on their own and mainly appeal to game-players interested in buying a bunch together.

Since there's no box theory and a distinct feeling of dirt, I'd say somewhere between $150 and $200.  Super Star Soldier is a pricey one nowadays, probably worth $50 all by itself.

but add 50%
50% of worthless is still worthless.  Best raffle that game by itself and sell the rest as a lot, doing it that way would make the rest of your lot worth about $120 minimum instead of $100

I don't have much time on here so I understand making any sales or trades won't come easily for me. I have already received a few pm's of people who may be interested in some things I have. I've gotten several estimates on the lot, everything from $100-$275, so like I said and have been saying for the last week or two I am new to this, I asked for an opinion on what my stuff might be worth so that I can put that money towards a few cd games (ys in particular)

It's become cliche for gouging flippers to obliviously use the excuse "it's only the BIN price, I'm accepting offers".

As has been explained to too many assholes responsible for the out of control collectard pricing: What they really mean is that they only have the insanely high BIN just in case they are lucky enough for some foolish person to overpay them for it. Even though it means conciously ripping someone off and setting a new benchmark for fellow gougers to reference in future rip offs.

You can't explain morality to the morally bankrupt.

All we can do is keean eye out for these creeps, so we can avoid helping them.

That's good, I don't blame you guys for being that way. Just ease up a bit, I'm really new to this.

And yes I admit I have resold items, and flipped some here and there but I've done so to expand my own collection which up until now has been strictly Nintendo and Sega, the market is much smaller for turbo and I haven't had much experience selling/buying/or trading any of it. I just know I got lucky 2 weeks ago with a pretty affordable TurboDuo

CGQuarterly

Ease up a bit?  Dude, you're not a part of the community.  You're not here to talk Turbo.  You're here to get us to waste our time pricing out your stuff, so that you can go sell it on eBay for double what it's worth.  If you just wanted to get fair value for it, and didn't want it going to flippers, you could have sold it here and avoided eBay fees and the nonsense that goes along with selling stuff there.  But you didn't do that because you want maximum profits from the collectards, so you come here to see what the stuff is actually worth, just so that you don't accidentally price the stuff too low and give someone a good deal.

Next time, just use PriceCharting.com or search eBay completed listings instead of wasting our time and then spitting in our faces.

IMO This place is mainly directed to fans and welcome them in,
but many have done the same to abuse this forum by getting better deals sold
for members... (and lately, it seem that true colors emerged from even well known members)

its no wonder everyone are being defensive, i would too :-k especialy the veterans

with a forum dedicated to it.

as for asking prices... i really think that's the laziest way possible.. do your own math..
come on. there's so many way you can check yourself and make a good idea about $$$...
Anyway are you only here to ask for a small profit and help turbo fans so they can help you to....
or are you here only for your own benefit ? (we'll probably never know,  )

but its like everyone who start loving turbografx/pc engine hope to get some lucky winning lotery ticket
it's even WORST on facebook.... its like they found Magical chasel each fucking time.

Quote from: CGQuarterly on 08/13/2015, 11:12 AMEase up a bit?

Anyone interested in selling items for fair market value on eBay, even if they aren't familiar with the items, has a fool proof method of doing so.

List everything as auctions with a $0.99 minimum bid.

Flippers find this crazy, because they literally don't want to sell things for only what people are willing to pay.
Him and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together! Both times he blamed the Aarons and their staff in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner, never himself nor his deranged/destructive/doxxing toxic turbo troll gang which he covers up for under the "community" euphemism!

QuoteI got lucky 2 weeks ago with a pretty affordable TurboDuo
cool.  in case you are wondering, duo is worth $1000.  But list it at 2k with "make offer"  in case value has gone up this week.  you dont want to leave any pennies on the table.
