Yo. Name's Rich and believe it or not, I am new to the TurboGraphix 16 scene. I will be getting one off ebay on Thursday, for about 100 bucks. Basically, I wanted to know if theres a way a north american console can play Japanese games, such as JJ and Jeff.

You will need to region-mod the console if you want to play original Japanese games.  On the other hand, you could play it off a Turbo Everdrive without a region mod.

Welcome Aboard!  My vote would be for using a flashcart as your region mod, saving the physical mod for when you get a Duo and need to use an Arcade Card.

PS - Do not use 'jap' as an abbreviation.  Spell it out fully or use something else like JP.

Next question. Found a console on ebay for 70 but it doesn't include the power adapter. I read that the master system adapter works with the console. is that true?
