I shipped out my recipient's Secret Santa Gift this morning then later in the afternoon, I received my Secret Santa Gift. The Return Address looked familiar so it was easy to figure out who my Santa is (same as last year). Thanks Desh!

My gift went out this morning, USPS said it should arrive by Thursday so plenty of time before Xmas. I won't be broken hearted if my recipient wants to open early, but I'm personally going to take mine with me (if it arrives on time) to Tennessee and open it Xmas morning. No judgement either way!

If that's the case, Santa put a phony return address label that correlates to Desh's on the package...or I got an additional gift from last year's Santa.

Heh, Santa's getting sneaky.

He had me worried for a bit, thinking I'd fucked up and paired up peeps again so soon (I try to make sure there's no repeats within two years) or that I'd sent out some wrong lists. The former wouldn't be that big of a deal, but the latter would really suck if someone got two presents while someone else got the shaft.

I noticed that the sign up sheet (see below) didn't include a spot for last year's recipient so I just figured that Desh ended up with a duplicate recipient.

I pulled all my post-it notes and napkin scribbles together last year and made a little spreadsheet, so I know who had who each year and needn't ask any longer.

Seeing as it's already been 5 weeks since the ship date, I bet it will show up any day now. And I'll just mirror what everyone else is saying, don't sweat it being a little late. We have our best friends coming over the weekend after Xmas for NYE, and we'll be exchanging presents then. I'm sure you might have a similar situation - who's not gonna love having one more present on the way after Xmas is over?

SS stuff and 'coal mailed and poster ordered. The first two are expected to be delivered on Saturday (a week to spare!), but the poster isn't expected to arrive until the end of the year. Oh well, 'tis just a bonus item, and it's right on time if you think of it as a gift from the Hanukkah Zombie.

Package revived. I like that my SS wrapped each gift. I don't. lol everything is simply packed into the box shipped.

My wife looked at the items and said "that one looks like a N64 game based on the shape". It surprised me she picked it out considering she wasn't into the N64 as her brother owned a PS1 back when these systems where new.

Of the gifts I have opened the N64 game. I think I'll wait to open the other gifts. Spread it out.

Have a bad day or something. And need a pick me up. Will open one of the gifts.

brought me copies of Dragon's Crown on the Vita and Hany on the Road.
I'm glad to have hany back, it' just such a quirky game, and Dragon's Crown reminds me that I love Vanillaware and need to pick up Odin Spere again....
