Hey guys, you've probably had to relogin and noticed the server was down for about an hour. It was my fault in trying to apply the SMF 2.0.14 upgrade to a SMF 2.0.13 working installation... SMF used to have a very reliable patch system, but this time it took the server down and no database connections could be made. I had to scramble with Aaron to figure it out, ultimately it was a tip on the support forums that saved the day here: https://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=554387.msg3941759#msg3941759

Anyway, everything seems to be back to normal, and I guess we'll be sticking with SMF 2.0.13 after that experience... :/

I got a weird error message last night when I tried to browse on my phone, thought it was my mobile acting up
For a good time, reach out to this wily KKKFarm-crankcaller at (780) 717-9274 or Ryleystuartreynolds@gmail.com up in Alberta, Canada!
His last crank-voicemail: "Gimme a call back when you can. This is Ryley by the way... *giggles*"
He then followed it up with 8 WEEKS of ~DAILY calling! BAN ON SIGHT!!!

After the last post an any given page, such as this one, there is now a "dead" spot which looks like a half formed space where a post would occupy. It wasn't there before. It bugs me.  :P

I think you mean the 3rd ad spot; it's blank at first, but after 3 seconds you should see an ad load. Sometimes loading fails, so a refresh might get it to show up unless ads are not loading at all for you. If you enabled Ad Block, that would explain it. And my change of forcing a sized ad spot at 90 pixels in height also explains it. It's better for browser rendering decisions if objects are sized in advance.

I talked about the changes to Google ads to help speed the page loading here: https://www.pcengine-fx.com/forums/index.php?topic=22594.msg505117#msg505117
