This is something I expect to happen much more often. Thankfully, it doesn't.

For example, when I watch "Antiques Roadshow" on PBS, there are usually at least 2-3 moments when I feel the "expert" appraiser is too hasty to point out the details of an item. I cringe as they recklessly whip around extremely fragile / valuable items.

I feel bad for the Chinese model: had it been any other gig (i.e. fashion show, laundry detergent commercial, etc.) she'd be fine ...

That's the thing about watching someone break something priceless: it's tragic amusement.  You know you shouldn't laugh but you just can't help but laugh at the poor tool for pulling off something that you'd expect The Three Stooges to do.
