Hello all.

New to the forums, but have talked to a few in PM's. Also bought a Duo-R and some games off of D-Lite. Great guy to deal with by the way.

A little about myself. I come from a small town where about 3 people had a turbografx, me being one of them. Hadn't played any games in a few years, moved around alot. Then was at my grandma's and found my old turbo in my old closet, still in the box, heh. Next thing you know was totally addicted again, so been buying a bunch of games, and got the Duo-R off of D-lite so I could play CD games again. Am having a blast, can't believe I ever stopped playing in the first place.

My favorite Games right now are Bonk's adventure, and Bonk's revenge. Soon as I get some of the RPG's I ordered off of ebay I plan on reliving my teens again, hehe. So that's basically me, and hello to everyone, can't wait to get to know you all, these forums awesome by the way.

Anyways my question is, does anyone know how much Bonk 3 US or Jap. sells for? I was thinking of picking up a copy and was under the impression that the Japanese version is the cheaper of the two, but have not been able to find a copy. If anyone has one up for sale at a decent price let me know, please. Well hope to get to know more of you soon.

On ebay the U.S. version goes for $130 complete and the Japanese version is around $30 or $40 complete. Haha, big price difference. The cd version goes for about $230. So ya, I would recommend the Japanese version for two reasons; Its the original and there is no language barrier. The U.S. version has been changed in the title screen and bonk appearance after meat transformation. The Japan one makes more sense to me, but whatever makes you happy is what you should buy.

is that the case for the japanese cd rev, as well? or can it be nabbed for a similarly low price?
i've always wanted to score a copy of the cd bonk 3 (for the extended 2player gameplay) - but have always just said funk it due to the price. i'd've never guessed that the japanese version was so much cheaper.

The cd version was never released to Japan. I would recommend nabbing an iso from a pal and burning it. This way you can play on your duo and save money at the same time

I think I'm gonna try to find a copy of the Japanese Hu-card hehe. Anyone got one for a decent price?

Ebay has been totally dry on this lately other than some guy wanting 199$ for the Japanese one, sucks, cause I wanna play it hehe.

$199 for a Japanese copy is unreal. The Japanese version is no rarer than any other common HuCard. Whoever that seller is he's a douche.

I've frequently seen US copies (which actually are a bit rarer) go for $99 or less.

I bought a complete one from him like a year ago for like $30 or $40. He has excellent service, very polite.

Sounds like game_squad that seller price gouges on any thing,TG16/PCE related avoid like the plague.

Just got the one for 17.99$ thanks for all of your help guys. Yeah I thought it was crazy that he was selling that for 199$ after I was talking to you guys, thats just craziness...
