Aaron, the favicon needs to go into the main directory of the site. You have it in the forums directory. That is not necessary. Just move it to where the main page's index is and it'll work. The url should be www.pcengine-fx.com/favicon.ico

I have Kikizo's "K" for Kikizo as well as HDTV Arcade dot com. But HDTV Arcade is doing something weird with their favicon (it's animated) so it doesn't work properly. They are trying to get fancy where they shouldn't.

Yes, I have the favicon.ico in the root of the site (and it loads up fine when I go to the main page) but once I go into the forums, it looses it.

EDIT: Should work now.

Mine doesn't see the favicon at all, but I think that's a browser issue. I need to get Firefox to look for the favicon where it's used to seeing none, but I don't know how to force it.

I cleared my browser cache and was finally able to get the favicon for the main page, but it goes away on the forums.

Use about:config and make sure browser.chrome.site_icons and browser.chrome.favicons are set to TRUE.

I should have mentioned I'm using the browser called Camino (a Mozilla offshoot, kind of a stripped-down and faster version of Firefox).

Here at work I'm plunking along with Micro-penis-soft's Windows XP and Internet Explorer. Incidentally, I don't see the favicon here.

Yeah, the favicon works with Camino, but the browser isn't faster (or slower) than Firefox.

Bonk shows up on my address bar and tab description when I'm on the main site, but he disappears in the forums and is also missing from my bookmark (using Firefox 2.0.0.8 on XP).

When I load the forum from a bookmark, the bonk favicon flashes in the address bar and then disappears. Kinda like its teasing me
