@GTV reviews the Cosmic Fantasy 1-2 Switch collection by Edia, provides examples of the poor English editing/localization work. It's much worse for CF1. Rated "D" for disappointment, finding that TurboGrafx CF2 is better & while CF1's the real draw, Edia screwed it up...

Quote from: rolins on 01/28/2009, 11:26 PMMy new jamma board arrived today. This one's Outzone, a unique Toaplan shooter released in 1990. Paid through nose for this one but totally worth it.
Very cool game. Huge Toaplan fan - I'd love to get this someday!

I'd have to disagree that it's their best offering though, Tatsujin. Batsugun is by far my fav from Toaplan with V-Five a close second.

The other Famiclone I had (Sachen Q-Boy) could play those games with the enhanced music chips with no problem. The controller ports were just shot.

Now what I definitely find strange is that Generation NEX rejects Namco106 and Konami VRC6 games, but despite that..... it played Lagrange Point, VRC7 intact but with varied volume on some channels.

Well, this store in town has complete Master System games for 79 and 99 cents.  In the past few days I've picked up Psycho Fox, Golden Axe Warrior, Fantasy Zone, Spiderman, Choplifter, Wonderboy, Cloudmaster, Dick Tracy, The Ninja, Strider, and a few others.... 99cents? :D
Arms installation is complete....good luck

Oh yeah i remember you had a video showing the (Sachen Q-Boy) playing CV3.It's a shame it's controller ports are crappy though.Though it's weird that a nex even plays, lagrange point and that use the VRC7 chip. That puzzles me that it does in the frist place.

Do they have any left that you could pick up for me?

You sure buy a lot of stuff, Tatsu.  Where do you work?

Tatsujin

it's less a question of where do i work, more than where do i live. if you visit shops with PCE games in the shelf for a dollar each, could you hold back of not buying them? i can't  :P

my weekly hard-off bicycle tours bring me back some hauls everytime. but i rarelly spend more than $30 on one trip.

but your're right, i should little bit refrain from buying tons of stuff in future. not because the money, since it doesn't cost the world, but because my limited space :|

Well ... i searched oo eBay for "Wondermega" and found this machine. The console itself is not so special ... but the price: about $70
But absolutely without warranty: Someone soldered out the power connector, so i have to check if the console works. But anyway ... a good price, even if i have to repair it :)

Fuck that.  Motorized front loaders are bulkier, more expensive, and more prone to failure (more parts equals more things to fail).

The Japanese labels are Garou, Magical Drop 3, League Bowling (it also has some sort of link up
connection in the top left of cart) and the busted POS is a Panic Bomber. The Hu is 1943 Kai.

The Ebay market really sux for PC Engine right now. It is all overpriced BIN stuff, I barely ever see
a good ole' auction nowdays. It has been a good month for MVS finds though, maybe the crap economy forcing people to sell the more HTF games?

You know, I was actually thinking that right after I posted. I guess in terms of gaming consoles you want something that is going to stand the test of time. The next gen consoles are going to be a bitch to keep tip top.
