I need help locating a Turbografx CD system with the system dock, as well as a turbobooster. I've tried eBay enough times, and apparently no one is willing to sell the CD system by itself; I'm pretty much forced to buy a expensive bundle of the TG16, CD system w/dock, controllers, etc. I'm dealing with the same crap looking for the turbobooster as well. if anyone can help me, I'd greatly appreciate it :)

If you get the docking station (with or without the CD system), you won't need a Turbo Booster. The Turbo Booster simply allows AV cable hookup to your TV. The docking station allows AV hookup, has save function, and "interfaces" the CD system (if you have one).

I know. I'd just like to find either, especially the CD unit with it's dock.

just a question-does the dock setup require 2 ac adapters & multiple cables like the sega CD, or does it only require 1 ac adapter and standard AV cables?

Turbo D

It requires one ac adapter to power both tg-16 and cd/dock and uses standard rca a/v cables. If you get a loose dock, you will need to find the correct psu for the dock as it uses a different one than the tg-16 and duo, iircc.
