someone had a good idea on here, that you list a system for sell, dont mention mod. Then after the initial 48 hours, log in as another user, and ask a question like "does this system play imports" then respond "Yes it does, send me a message for details"

What about just using different words for the description. Just say it plays US and Japanese Hucards and has a S-video jack in the back. It is funny how you see tons of Mega Modded Neo Geo systems on E-bay, but you never see it with TG-16, Genesis etc...

For all of its faults, I still love ebay. Where else can you find so many things you can buy, usually at very good prices, for so many different hobbies, interests, collections, etc. without even having to leave your house! You would have to travel hundreds or sometimes even thousands of miles to find some of these things by shopping the old-fashioned way. For example, where else would you find such a large selection of PC engine games so quickly and affordably?

Here's one way to sale a modded console on Ebay. It has "C-video", and the second to last picture has a pic of the mod, but the connector is "darkened". Seems to have worked for him, it's not been pulled yet.

Actually, it is not modded at all. Take another look

I take it the reason old game systems get pulled off is due to the people they hire to watch for this. I am sure it is really intended for current and last generation systems. Some of these guys are so dumb that they assume it applies to a S-video modded Atari 2600 as well. I can't see any reason to why they would do this. It only keeps E-bay from making money.
