Mike was the main antagonizer of the forums and all of the mods agreed (it took Aaron forever to even speak up on the issue), even Keranu said he should have been banned before Nintega or Validus. Mike really liked to argue. He also seemed to have more bad luck on eBay than anyone else on the planet. He always made it a point to collect and save everything anyone ever said so he could try to use it against you later. He would also collect pictures of you and modify them in an attempt to be even more childish. And usually every one of his responses would reference something that is completely irrelevant to the subject being discussed just to throw more insults, kind of like he did on his last post talking about Aaron mass-selling his collection or something. Nobody misses Mike.

I'm positive that I have a fair collection of dislikers as well- for I am outspoken and wear my heart on my sleeve, I haven't been here long- and can be quite acidic when it comes to insults. I'm fine with that.

I haven't contributed as much lately in the way of system/games discussion as I'd like- but I've been gearing up for a Wedding and have been busy making music- but I will continue with gaming and the purchase of PCE titles the second half of this year. My word is that if I stay here much longer it won't be to just spit acid in the FIGHTING STREET forum. If this paragraph seems overindulgent then I have a ripe testicle or two that you can cup your lips over.

I personally don't really hate anyone here- though I'm sure most feel that's bullshit- well okay- there's maybe a few. Lol. Probably not who you'd think though. For the most part all of us idiots play our roles well in this huge comedy that is PCEngineFX. Even Zeta is an integral piece of inane stupidity. Every good movie has its belly laughs, its horror stories, its villains. Honestly though I'm kind of glad this FIGHTING STREET is here because I feel a good number of you could use a pair of balls and a sense of humor.

Ah, so I guess Mike has gone the way of the Dodo in these forums. That's too bad. He did know his shit, so I'd say he was a contributor. His only real issue was that he just didn't know how to productively counter arguments if someone disagreed with him -- that just led him to just drivel on forever.

If this Fighting Street section was here before, he might still be around -- it would've been a good outlet for the dude. Actually, that goes for all Kits as well - I kinda miss that cat.

Nintega just seriously has some social issues. Don't know what else to say about him.

Since thread derailing is totally allowed here, I wanna say that I think he was a valued member of the community. He went out of his way to spot bad deals and scams for us... he didn't have to do that. He also stood up for Ceti when his Duo was being held ad infinitum by D-Lite.

If you're going for a "free for all" kind of setting, sure. But these forums have a purpose-- [mostly] civilized discussion of the NEC related consoles. Aaron wants a certain value to the information contained in the "meat" of the forums here, and it is a valuable resource that is only devalued by the kind of nonsense shitspewing propagated by the likes of Validus & co. Heated discussion is welcome, but heated discussion and nonsequitor spamming are two different things.

That's why Aaron created this subforum, with the hopes that the type of behavior I mentioned above will contain itself here and not pollute the main areas of the board.

Flames and spam can make up for some great posts, relying soley on "contributing information" (in quotes because we rarely do that anymore here) is boring -- that's what Wikipedia is for. I suspect that this place is refreshing especially for the moderators- who finally get to let off some steam without the full baggage of responsibility and strict professionalism. Whether the quality of their "contributes" were low or not doesn't matter, they still "contributed" as much or more than the usual person chatting up threads in those sections (and more so the general discussion area). The point is, "contribution" is a ridiculous "law" for a message board. People come to forums to chat, not to be judged if they don't have any new information to offer to the community.
