Not a bad game overall.  On a down side it felt like the power-ups and energy boosts were in the wrong places and level 5 was a tad frustrating.

Nice! It's definitely the worst of the bunch, but the music is awesome and some of the levels aren't half bad.

Button I is speed and II is weapon, there's no bombs and the weapons change by picking them up in the stage. Nothing fancy.
And I'm keeping it, in fact after beating it I've played through it several more times cause I love it. There's a second loop and I can't beat the last stage on hard it's pretty brutal!

i play those japanese rpgs with the available walkthroughs and guides from the internet. ;)

Kyukyoku Tiger is a hidden gem, imo.  It's challenging, but I can't stop playing it.  And the music!  Oh....  that lovely music.

ending theme was weird...but a great game with a few bugs that could hinder somebody from finishing it...

@tron: you can easily play cosmic fantasy 1 without knowing japanese. it is as straight forward as a jrpg ever gets. no problem finishing that one and it also is not that long. ;)
