It's just an avatar.  I can never see enough pics of hot women so it doesn't bother me.  I wouldn't ever put one up for my own avatar though.

I chose option #69 - All Other Options Suck.

It doesn't really mean much, outside of showing your appreciation for whoever is depicted.  If it's something like a picture of Flare/Feena/Laura/etc., then it's all good; but if it's a pic of a real person that you don't personally know, then it's kinda weird in a stalkerish kind of way.  Not that there's anything wrong with stalking people - to me, it's an integral part of the wooing process.

Agreed on Flare/Feena/Laura- or Sunteam Paul's Ys goddess avatar (I think it's Sunteam Paul anywho).  All PCE graphics/drawings are above reproach/question/concern.   :)

I use a female avatar.  I don't give a shit about the "it should represent you" nonsense.  An avatar is a picture that I see every time I post.  Therefore it should be a picture of something I enjoy looking at.  I do not enjoy looking at men.  Why the hell would I want to see a man every time I post? FUCK NO.  I enjoy looking at women.  Therefore my avatar is female.

But I think one of the biggest (and most ridiculous) reasons why we don't use a woman as an avatar is because some posters would mistake us as being women when we're really not. :-$

Apparently, some people need to understand that an avatar is not a depiction of who you are.  It's just a favorable image. :wink:
