Anyone remember the Spriggan contest we had on these forums four or five years ago? I was thinking of doing something similar, this time with Zeroigar, but we need enough people to make it worthwhile.

The game has a nice 2 minute mode that would be perfect for such a contest. The 2 minute mode is scored a little differently than, say, Spriggan as in Zeroigar you're given a finite number of "super weapons" right from the start that all share a common "energy meter." The catch is, your final bonus is tallied by how much of this meter is left unused + how much life you have left.

So... who's got a PC-FX? And who's got Zeroigar? A PC-FX is really the only "must" as there are, uh, ways to get ahold of Zeroigar.

I gotta do some furniture moving, and some homework project and all of that... but Id be down. PC-FX is so hood.

Yeah, we'd set a deadline for scores like three weeks or a month out or something, give everyone some time to get a copy of the game (if they don't already have it) and get some play time in.

Shit - either M.E.F.X. has a bug or my rip is fubar. Either way, I'm not going to get to join in on the festivities, as this just leads to a black screen.

The normal game played fine, though. I got to show off my suck by dying twice against the weak sauce first boss.

Strange, I wonder if MEFX has a bug. Doesn't seem like the game would work at all if your rip was bunk.

I'd love to do it, but it doesn't seem like we have enough people to make it interesting. I keep hoping some more folks will chime in.... I *know* there are more people with PC-FXes here that haven't spoken up.

ME-FX doesn't emulate something that Zeroigar uses, use Mednafen instead.

I'll start...this is the first time in YEARS that I've hooked up my FX (sad I know) and only the second time playing the 2min mode. Didn't kill the boss
