No, NOT a trick, a Halloween treat! Presenting the Dead of the Brain 1 English patch by David Shadoff for the DEAD last official PC Engine CD game published by NEC before exiting the console biz in 1999! I am looking into whitening my cd-rom2 setup so I am going to have to take it apart.  I had no problem with my white pce thanks to the guide on superpcenginegrafx, but the cd-rom unit seems a bit more complicated.  I took the case off but inside there was a lot going on and I didnt want to risk breaking anything.  Does anyone have any experience safely taking these apart?  Any tips or picture guides aimed toward a total newb (like me) would be awesome!
