Artist needed for MSR!

Just a quick heads-up... B_T finished the remaining images, so the cutscenes are finally coming together completely. There is nothing left to draw; it all comes down to code now. It will now require approximately two weeks to bring the game to final beta status. The final beta test will take place the first couple of weeks of March; RC1 is expected by March 10th. We're going to give it a full month of final runs to ensure a bug-free, quality product. Pressing will take place in April, and distribution should begin before May rolls around, depending on how manufacturing goes.

I'm going with the very same one you used.

We already know that they can do the job, and they don't rape you on the price like some others do. The product will be ordered by, delivered to, and distributed from my trusted distribution point in Toledo, OH.

I've already gotten one person who wants to buy 25% of the order... what the hell could someone possibly want with 250 copies of the game?

Depending who it is I can think of a few things

1) Mass eBay hocking
2) resale at a local game shop
3) They like expensive coasters?

The preorder bonus is limited to one per order regardless of the number of units ordered.

hey at least our PCE preorder perks are mundane and doofy little knick knack things, and everyones getting the same quality game itself!

Yeah well I don't give the middle finger to people who wanted to wait till the thing was finished. Which is exactly why I won't open preorders again until the thing goes gold. That moment is rapidly approaching, however. Everyone who orders gets the exact same quality product... the first 100 just get a little something extra. Or should I say six somethings extra.

And ugh... that reminded me of that Eagles song.

Wonder if i made it into that first 100 or not.. possibly not, pre order has been in for a long time though so perhaps theres a chance ;)

Sorry but I can't exactly give out the names of those who pre-ordered.

I can, however, say that the list contains 53 people, and comes to a total of 61 units ordered... a few people ordered extra copies. Most of the orders are from the USA, but a few are from Canada, a few are from France, and then there's orders from Ireland, New Zealand, and Austria.

I wish I knew what happened to Seldane. He was doing kickass work on our secret project, and then it's as if he dropped off the face of the planet.

Ninja Spirit is still around but I guess he doesn't come here anymore... I still see him on Facebook though. And I think Kaminari tends to stick to the magicengine forums... he was the one who was going to do the French translation of MSR but never did it because he didn't think the game would be finished... and then Armen came in and knocked off the entire script in just a few days, making MSR the very first single-disc tri-lingual PCE game ever.

And (at least one) from Australia! (Though my paypal billing address was in the U.S. at the time I pre-ordered, I believe).

BTW, you are going to confirm shipping addresses before you send out, yeah? I moved across coasts since pre-ordering...

Yes, all shipping addresses will be verified before being sent out. It's the wise thing to do since most of the pre-orders were done in late 2009, and some of the addresses are probably incorrect now.

Is Seldane even alive? Actually, he is. He pops in once every blue moon over at his Ancient Land of Ys boards, but, it IS really rare. His current name over there is FM-77. It looks like the last time he posted anything was December 8th & 9th. Cant believe there is actually three or four people wanting to no the whereabouts of seldane.That would be about along the same lines as if three or four people were wanting to no the same thing about sinstron or nintega.

I'm sure ninny's still seething under his bridge, but I couldn't care less; I do miss Sini and Seldane though. You may not agree with what they had to say, but at least they actually participated in discussions.

Yeah that has a lot to do with it- after he passed away I just tried to keep my mind occupied as best I could- and in the most therapeutic way I knew how- which was diving into music. I do intend to come back- I do miss a few of you maroons- but I feel for me to be back here while I'm NOT playing PCE is kind of fraudulent. I don't want to be known as just some war-room guy- though surely I'm pretty good at that. I'd like to contribute and my greater contributions were about my thoughts on games, playing them and ripping through them (though not on runin's level).
