Hi everyone!  For those I havent talked in in ages... it's good to be back!
I've finally moved to a new permanent residence, and just settled into my new apt at Singapore.
Sharing some initial setups of my (small) man-cave (aka PCE gem cave)

I am trimming down some of my stuff and will be posting a large list of items for trade/sale as well soon.  stay tuned.
Life is good again after unpacking all the TG/PCE goodies
-Tokei

(p.s. -> special thx to good ol' Henry:  See the Booster that TG16 is hookedup to? and that Beyond Shadowgate?  both are from him in trades ~6 months ago before I moved.
Henry.. haven't talked in a long time...  hope everything is good!

Btw, in my option, using the TG16 CDrom on the PCE briefcase setup is the coolest thing :)  That player is exactly 20 years and 1 month old... and needs me to lube her gears up with veg. oil every few months, but she's still going strong!!

I was just getting my ass kicked by Salamander tonight! :)

BTW-Tokie, you needs to get a CRT TV!

JapanTokei

I love salamendar too... it's prob my favorite in the Gradius clone series.  For mindless quickie shooting action, I still default to R-type or Gate of Thunder though :)

I did play own the SMS version of Makaimura ... I could swore they called it the Super Ghouls n Ghosts back them.... I beat it.. recall it had pretty good graphics for SMS, but had terrible slowdowns... somehow, Electronics Boutique back then let me return the game when  I told them it was too slow!!  agreeing it was a pretty crappy version

By any chance do you own any of the Makaimura board games?

I was seriously thinking about picking up the Cho Makaimura board game recently, it's gorgeously collectible,
but then didn't as I own way too much stuffs already, need to shrink my collection....

I've not played the SMS game, I've heard it's actually quite good considering the capabilities of the SMS.

The only one I haven't played and want to is the Wonderswan game.  8)

Hey Tokei, you're welcome.  I've been super busy lately with the new house and all.
How are the finds in the new place?
Wanted:
Bootleg Hucards (Hong Kong, China)
Third Party Hardware (US, Japan, China, Europe, Korea)
Canadian Boxes and Manuals (French text)
Ton's of Trades available - just PM me.

Henry - congrats on the new home! you'll be like me then ... busy moving / packing and then unpacking!!  over here, i haven't had anytime yet to explorer... just work and stablizing the living situation.  there seem to be a relatively good size JP population here so perhaps there will be some nice finds real soon.... for what it's worth my wife already found an awesome JP used manga/bookstore where you can even sit down and have coffee.  I'm hoping a similar one for PCE games exists as well :)
