What kind of multiplayer crap do you people usually prefer?

I prefer Bomberman myself.

but are there any hardcore Super VolleyBall multiplayers? :D
This "max-level forum psycho" () destroyed TWO PC Engine groups in rage: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook "Because Chris 'Shadowland' Runyon!," then the other by Aaron Nanto "Because Le NightWolve!" Him and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together... Both times he blamed the Aarons in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner, never himself nor his deranged, destructive, toxic turbo troll gang!

PCE Games countdown: 690/737 (47 to go or 93.6% clear)
PCE Shmups countdown: 111/111 (all clear!!)
Sega does what Nintendon't, but only NEC does better than both together!^^
<Senshi> Tat's i'm going to contact the people of Hard Off and open a store stateside..

I prefer not to play multiplayer crap at all, so I don't touch the boring sports titles.  I'll play any of the other good stuff: shmups (Sapphire, Aeroblasters, 1943), puzzlers (Puyo Puyo, Panic Bomberman), action games (Bonk 3, Don Doko Don, Parasol Stars, Splash Lake, Buster Bros., Pop 'n' Magic), vs. fighters (Godzilla, Kabuki Itouryodan).

For me, Battle Lode Runner is a slam dunk choice. The game is so simple to play, yet so addicting. The goal of the multiplayer mode is to dig up holes for your opponents to fall in, and you have various cool power-ups at your disposal. Digging up a hole in a ground and falling from the top is priceless. The game is is a blast with five people.

Yeah, I really like how that game turned out.  It kind of made me hate Lode Runner less.

I dig Sonic Spike 4 player!
Jossshhhhh...Legendary TurboTrollX-16: He revenge-bans PCE Developers/Ys IV Localizers from PCE Facebook groups and destroyed 2 PC Engine groups: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook, then the other by Aaron Nanto!!! Josh and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together! Both times he blamed the Aarons and their staff in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner (extortion/blackmail!), never himself nor his deranged, destructive, toxic turbo troll gang!

SuperPlay

+1 for bomberman '93

I remember having my room full of my friends all lining up to get onto my PCE to play this in the day :-) Some great memories!

As I only had 2 pads at the time my friends had used to turn up with all sorts of arcade sticks and controllers ;-)

No Dungeon Explorer multiplayer?

I was expecting at least one!

I dont have any friends, so I dont get to try that too often.

Fuck yeah, Dungeon Explorer!  It (and the sequel) is great fun and gets played often, though it's kinda hard with less talented peeps - we're usually lucky to make it to the second boss before all the continues are spent, then I'm stuck going it alone, restarting, or fiddling with passwords.
