please vote for my Silent Hill movie poster!

As some of you may be aware, Sony Pictures is currently running a contest where they had fans design a theatrical poster for their upcoming Silent Hill movie. Since I'm a graphic designer and a huge Silent Hill fan, I couldn't pass it up.

Voting is currently underway, and I'm here to shamelessly recruit votes for my poster. You can see it larger and vote for it right here!

Once this round of voting ends on January 17, the contest judges will narrow the top 50 vote-getters down to 5 finalists, at which time there will be another round of voting. If my poster makes the finals, expect another post bothering you about this again. ;)

The contest winner gets 2500 bucks cash, 25 passes to a preview screening of the movie, and they make a limited run of your poster. So I'd really appreciate your support! Thanks very much!!

PS - please don't let this turn into a thread about how good or how shitty you think the movie looks -- that's not the point here.

What? I didn't know they were making SH into a movie. I hope Christopher Lambert is in it. Awesome.

The movie fits into the theme of the first game!

The contest is over -- well, it's not over, but the preliminaries ended weeks ago, and I didn't make it into the finals. Oh well. The movie looks frickin GREAT, if you're a SH fan. That's all that really matters to me anymore. Thanks though!

That was a pretty good trailer there. There is definitely potential here.

Wish I had gotten around to playing the games. I bought the first for playstation and the 2nd for PS2, but I just never seem to find the time to clear my backlog of all these games I collected. =\

I think those judges need a good kick to the stomach for rejecting that poster of yours! I'm not kidding! It looks great!
