@GTV reviews the Cosmic Fantasy 1-2 Switch collection by Edia, provides examples of the poor English editing/localization work. It's much worse for CF1. Rated "D" for disappointment, finding that TurboGrafx CF2 is better & while CF1's the real draw, Edia screwed it up...

So I'm thinking about getting together a liqour cabinet to make decent drinks and that.  I have some stuff that's just showed up over the years already, but I'm looking at this: http://www.chow.com/food-news/53883/key-to-the-liquor-cabinet/2/
And I think it's doable, getting the core at first, and then buying one or two extra a month.  I got my favorite drinks, like gin and tonic, kamakazi's rum and coke, and it would be good to branch out a bit too.

Here's my choices:
Woodford Reserve (bourbon)  I'm not amazing at bourbon, and usually I'd drink Jack, but it's very well regarded, and Donna, who does know about whiskey likes this one best
Plymouth Gin - not the most premium, but I do like it
Absolut Vodka - again, not a premium vodka, but seeing as I won't be sipping it, it seems stupid to buy an expensive vodka to be drowned out by mixers
Kraken (spiced rum) a lot of people have been going nuts for this one.  Time to find out what the fuss is about.
Appleton Estate VX (rum) - apparantly a superb rum for mixing

And then apart from those, a couple of standard vermouths (good for cooking!), mixers, and prosecco.

Anyone else got a decent liqour cabinet?

If you're setting up a liquor cabinet you better just talk to tats.  However I don't think he has a liquor cabinet.  I think it's a bunch of shelves made out of system 3.0 cards.  I could be wrong though.  BTW tats will also just tell you to fill it with WHISKY and not WHISKEY.

Could be wrong, but I think he is commenting on how you keep starting threads about shit about yourself that no one gives a flying fuck about. Just sayin...

You got to know how to set up the bar to "Party".

McCormicks Vodka - 1/2 Gallon plastic bottles (with a built in handle!) $10 to $12 each.

Must haves:
Everclear - Duh!  Make anything a drink!
Wild Turkey

Anything Burnettes is quality.
Jose Cuervo has to be there or it's not a party either.

And of course:
MD 20/20 for the ladies.

Sorry you thought the Internet was centered around you :(

Jose Cuervo though... that's supposed to be pretty nasty - I mean I've had it in shots, but...  It's not for much else.  And MD 20/20 for the ladies?  I think that was the first alcohol I ever bought...  Bleagh

And we don't have everclear here, but I think we have Wild Turkey - what is that, bourbon?

Actually, I should be saying that to you, since you keep thinking your everyday experiences, wants, and needs are so damn important to everyone that you have to blog about it.  Lets face it, all these threads ARE about you. We call this kind of behavior, both IRL and on the net, attention whoring. Some advice, try starting a thread or two in chit chat that doesn't actually involve you yourself as part of the main subject, at least in-between all the pointless blogs.

Absolut Vodka to me is crap, I like my Vodka to go down smooth.

Grey Goose for me, I dont mix it with other stuff. Lemon Drops and your good to go.
IF i would to mix my Vodka it would be only Cranberry Juice. Again Grey Goose all the way.
Southern Comfort and thats only yearly i do a shot on the day he died as that was my fathers drink of choice.

Not a beer drinker as i cant stand the nasty after taste.
We do have a few Bourbons and Whiskeys and Tequillas stocked in the bar amoung other thinks. Ill edit this list with the exact brands after i get a few hours sleep.
Welcome to Prime Time B!tch

Yeah, I've heard good things about Grey Goose, but seeing as I don't drink it neat and it's twice as expensive as Absolut...  what about Smirnoff?  It's pretty much synonymous with vodka over here.

Also, I really like these:

You should totally have a go at making some!

*edit* I can't find the glasses I want anywhere... I've been thinking about using science beakers in the meantime as a stopgap:
