Japanese collecting card sleves fit perfect like they were made for Hu-cards as their a bit smaller than westen card sleves.

handy to know some of them RPG games can be played, i have a few of the games in the list and never played then as i thought they were all in Japanese i will get to trying them out thanks.

A spreadsheet would be well handy.

I would love another copy of the guide book i had it back in the day and have no idea what i did with it, the book was great and super useful at the time when buying games.
#4
I am glad the game will still get a release as with the webpage gone i was getting worried i had wasted my money, would be a shame as the game was looking really promising and i was liking the changes you made pretty much everything i mentioned in my youtube video.

you could call it

hengine or shingine

I like this can but what has been said about it here is smack on, its fun, frustrating, sometimes a bit boring and has wicked sound track. but something keeps me coming back for more here and there.

Its not a very well known shump and theses days can be pretty expensive but if your in to shumps its worth having even just for the wicked music.

Just thought i would ask again my duo is missing the plastic cd tray cover, the one that goes around the cd unit as in the attachment.

If someone has a dead duo or some spare parts i would be willing to buy this part of you.

might just be a dirty cartridge slot or knackered hu card.
#12

#13
i have a question the El Gato works fine with the framemeister then ?. was wondering as i am thinking of getting one.
#14
I just picked up override and down load love my shmups.

OMG didn't know it could do multiple consoles i need one.

as for you question i would start double checking your wiring you my have a ground touching another wire somewhere or you may have wired it wrong, if you got a multi meter use that for a continuity test.
#16
Rayxanber II and tatsujin are both rock hard games, so would add Rabio Lepus Special that game is pretty solid.
#17
I have had that on a few drives over the years and the one i got now, always fixed it but re-sitting the whole cd unit again making shore the rubbers are on the 3 pins. make shore there is no wires forcing the tray up a bit had that as well causing scrapping, from what i have done i have found they take a little fiddling with to get to sit flush without scrapping.

The one i got now didn't scrap till i replaced the cogs then when i put it back together it was scrapping after a bit of playing around and taking it apart a few times making shore no wires are pushing any thing its works fine.

hope that helps and good luck its a pain in the arse to fix.

I went enjoyed the day, spent most of it playing a sharp x6800 fun times.

got mine running using a cheap stepdown power transformer you can get them on ebay for £5

connecting it to my tv with the 3 composite leads red, white and yellow if your tv can accept ntsc you're fine pretty much all lcds tvs should work and most crt should work.

you could use the s-video lead and 2 audio leads the red and white better picture this way if your tv has s-video.

or you could put the 3 composite leads red, white and yellow into a scart block and put it in your rgb scart socket on your tv.

Thing to remember tho you HAVE TO USE A STEPDOWN TRANSFORMER or your PC-FX go byby.

I have been experiencing the same problems originals work perfect and burned game were jumpy and skipped music, so i tried different makes of CD-R from cheap brands to Verbatim with mixed results and then i found JVC Taiyo Yuden disks, if you burn them slow always a good idea they work perfect.

i have RE-burned all my pc engine games again with these disks and have found them to be excellent quality, done about 10 PC-FX games so far and they all work perfect  now need more disks.

only thing there not cheap but worth every pennie here is a like.

there DVD's are also extremely good.

lol your a mentalist but i have to say i want to see it happen.
#23
open the scart socket first have look if any of the wires have come off and are touching.
#24

#25
have you had the din socket replaced on the tg16 or is the rgb cable coming from the inside of the tg16 , only asking as it sounds like the red, green and blue might be soldered the wrong way around.

Quote from: psychobear on 07/25/2013, 01:16 AMCRT is the only way for retro consoles.
I second that, but would like to see them setup through a framemeister mini with scanlines.

Quote from: Seldane on 08/06/2006, 09:36 AMThe Mega-CD was pretty popular in Europe, and of course--nobody knew what a Turbo Grafx was.
Being from the uk it was known as a pc engine in this neck of the woods at lease as far as i was concerned, the turbo was mythical story of intrigue mystery of release dates, pictures in magazines and tele games saying the uk version is here, but never seeing a consoles or games anywhere its only like 20 years later you can buy them on ebay.

I got a model 1 megadrive and cd it's the only way, the 2 is not bad looking but it looks cheaper.

Quote from: Joe Redifer on 07/11/2013, 03:05 AMI've always loved how Chris made The Super Kung-Fu's sprite so completely big that it's beyond ridiculous. I always think of this when I play China Warrior... which is 4 or 5 times a day just like everyone else.
If you don't play China Warrior at least 4 or 5 times a day, you suck all kinds of human parts.

of the dude variety.
Lol

I finished dragon's curse and magical chase last weekend.

Been playing magical chase on hard trying to 1 credit it, but the last level is tricky.
#44
Thanks for looking, I think spell check changed the HuCard's will have to change it back.

Interesting about the train, did Hudson make trains, engines or veicles if so you could well be right, the pc engine always looked like a top of a engine block, as far as I have read the disigine was based on a engine part dident know way.

As for the writing I have neaver had any skills in but I love the engine and wasn't to hard to throw a few words together, been thinking of doing a neogeo write up when I got some time.

If your interested my mate did some 1 on neogeo and 1 on Super Nintendo can post them if you want a read there very nicely written.
#45
Well I've been reading a few pc engine articles lately, and have the evolution of the pc engine to read from retro gamer issue 111 and just thought i would share this with you.

i wrote this a few months ago for a retro site, i aint no writer and in faked dyslectic, but have a read and see what you think.

I try to refrain from int'l shipping when possible because I've had items go missing during the trip, both inbound and out. Last incident was a few months ago when a Turbo Booster I sold to a fella in Canada went missing (I'm assuming...) after it crossed the border. I've lost money from such in both shipping costs and merchandise.

If you want one that bad, I could sell you one of my 1FZ boards, but I won't take responsibility if it gets lost in transit. The board is a JP board, so if you need English language in games you'll need to change the BIOS.[/quote]
That's a shame I have been really lucky with importing goods only had 1 parcel go missing. As for the neogeo been looking at a few on eBay they seem to be going for a more reasonable price at the moment if I can't get hold of one I will tap you up mate.
